Spence & Grant manufacture many wood products, from windows, doors and staircases to beadings/mouldings, louvres or shutters and even packing cases. 
We produce custom designed stairs to the customer or architect's specification. 
We have even been asked to manufacture a hexagonal staircase, which was judged an outstanding success. In fact, any wood product can be manufactured on site to a high standard of precision and finish.

We also manufacture various items for many joinery firms in the area, who do not have workshop facilities of their own. And with their ever returning presence we know the workmanship and service matches or surpasses their demanding standards and approval.

The use of wood for window frames is on the way back, as many companies and individuals prefer the aesthetics and long term sustainability to PVCu. Good quality, properly treated wood frames can now be guaranteed to last as long too.
We enjoy a challenge and have produced many unusual items over the last 22 years including a giant teapot for a restaurant, dolls furniture, public bar gaming boards, beds and circular wine cellars.
